    Sending letters from another address to Mail.ru

    In the mail service Mail.ru there is only one way to connect other email addresses in order to be able to indicate them as the sender's address. This method is to configure mail collection. That is, you need to connect the desired mailbox (from which letters will be collected) to your mail in Mail.ru and immediately after that you will be able to specify the address of the connected mail as a sender when sending a letter (and when responding to incoming letters).

    How to configure mail collection in Mail.ru is described

    To then select the sender's address when creating a letter, just open the list "from address" at the top of the window for creating a letter and select the desired address.

    You can also select the sender's name “from”. Initially, you will have one name. If you want to add another sender's name, then open the mail settings and select “Sender's name and signature” there.

    In Gmail, just like in Yandex, you have 2 options to connect other sender addresses:

    Configuring SMTP

    You can set a specific type of message sending. Atomic Mail Sender supports the following sending types:

    "Streams"- the number of streams (connections) for each SMTP server is set, the number of streams depends on the number of selected SMTPs and is summed up automatically.

    "Multithreaded mailing"- for each relay, the user sets the number of connections (streams). At start, if there is no check mark on "Use SMTP Rotation" total number of broadcast streams = sum of streams of all active SMTP.

    Rotation of SMTP servers is the setting of Atomic Mail Sender to send messages progressively through several SMTP servers. The step-by-step scheme of the program can be described as follows: stage 1... All SMTP servers are suspended.

    "SMTP for only"- entering a list of domains (for example, gmail.com) for message delivery via external SMTP. For all addresses with other domains, "Direct" will be used.


    Only through external SMTP

    All messages are sent using the specified external SMTP server. It is possible to use several SMTP servers, in this case Atomic Mail Sender will use different servers to deliver a message (in turn).

    While checking, Atomic Mail Sender sends a letter through each server from the list to the address specified by the user (a process similar to sending test messages). Thus, available and unavailable SMTP accounts are determined. After verification, available accounts in the list of relays are highlighted in green, unavailable - in red, unverified - in black. As part of managing inaccessible accounts, the program offers options for the user: delete, disable, skip.

    In order to change the parameters of an SMTP account already indicated in the list, double-click on it with the left mouse button or click on the "+" button in the upper right corner of the SMTP-accounts list window.

    Many SMTP servers require authentication. Atomic Mail Sender supports ESMTP (the most common), CRAM MD5, DIGEST MD5 (with secure password transmission), as well as POP3 authentication (outdated). In case authentication is required, enter the username and password (as well as the POP3 server name for POP authentication).

    • Message Limit / Hour - Mailing Rate: Sets the number of messages sent per hour of mailing.

    DNS setup

    DNS detects IP addresses, that is, it translates symbolic names to IP addresses.

    Also, DNS determines the servers to which messages should be sent. Usually Atomic Mail Sender automatically detects DNS servers. In case you want to use a different DNS server, or Atomic Mail Sender was unable to detect it automatically, select "Use special meanings" and indicate which ones.


    Proxy settings
