    The ML 350 BlueEfficiency modification is equipped with a 306-horsepower petrol "six", delivering 370 Nm of maximum torque and allowing a top speed of 235 km / h. Top of the range is the ML 500 with a 4.7-liter V8 delivering 408 hp. With it, the SUV starts up to a hundred in 5.6 seconds, and the maximum speed is limited to 250 km / h.

    Regardless of the selected engine type, all of them are paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission 7G-Tronic Plus and have a proprietary 4MATIC all-wheel drive system.

    Of course, Mercedes-Benz paid great attention to safety, therefore the ML-Class 2013 is equipped with many different systems, including night vision system with pedestrian recognition, driver fatigue detection, blind spot monitoring, automatic braking in a dangerous situation, and also many others.

    In turn, the comfort of the driver and passengers is designed to take care of the suspension, which dampens all unwanted vibrations, and an optional Airmatic air suspension is available, which has six different options work, depending on the type of roadway.

    Of course, the line of power units for ML is not limited to one motor. For example, the ML250 version is equipped with a four-cylinder diesel engine with a volume of 2.1 liters and 200 horsepower with a torque of 500 Nm. This motor is intended to replace the old ML350 BlueTec diesel.

    The top version of AMG will remain unchanged. The ML63 will be equipped with an eight-cylinder power unit with 518 horsepower and 698 Nm of torque.

    The third generation of Mercedes-Benz M-class, beloved by Russians, was officially presented on the first day of December 2011 in St. Petersburg. As usual, the fresh version of the model has slightly increased in size, keeping the size of the base at 2915 mm. Passengers in the back row are not as comfortable as in the front.
    The interior has not increased in length, but the backrests have received tilt angle adjustment.
    The luggage compartment in the travel (five-seater) version is 690 liters, if the second row seats are folded, the volume increases to 2010 liters. It's nice to be inside - everything around is comfortable, light and comfortable.

    Motors of the "third ML", according to the company's engineers, have become 25% more economical, this can only be confirmed by operating experience. From the start of sales, the Mercedes-Benz ML will be available with three engines:

    • Turbo diesel V-shaped "six" 350 BlueTec 3 liters (258 HP),
    • Gasoline six-cylinder 350 BlueEffisiency 3.5 liters (306 hp).

    With a gasoline engine (306 hp), the Mercedes-Benz ML accelerates to a hundred in 7.6 seconds and develops an impressive 235 km / h, while the average fuel consumption is negligible for a car weighing more than 2 tons - 8.5 liters! Diesel units are content with “ridiculous” 6-7 liters of diesel fuel per 100 km of track (in mixed mode).
    There are plans to install another eight-cylinder 450 CDI diesel engine on this ML and two petrol engines for the ML 500 and ML63 AMG.
