In the first case, the dynamics of acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h is 10.7 and 11.3 seconds for the front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions, respectively. In the second case, this indicator will be equal to 11.5 and 11.7 seconds. The maximum speed with manual transmission and automatic transmission is 185 and 175 km / h, respectively.
    • All three 4-cylinder diesels have almost the same displacement of 2.0 liters. The youngest of them (the exact volume is 1999 cm³) produces 136 hp. power at 3000 - 4000 rpm and 320 Nm of torque at 1250 - 2750 rpm. Its slightly improved version (exact volume 1995 cc) has the same power output of 136 hp. at 4000 rpm, but produces more torque - 373 Nm in the range from 2000 to 2500 rpm. The first motor is aggregated only with a manual transmission, while for the second only "automatic" is offered. As a result, the dynamics of acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h is 11.1 and 12.1 seconds, respectively, and the maximum speed is 181 and 182 km / h.
    • The top diesel engine (exact volume 1995 cm³) is capable of producing up to 184 hp. power at 4000 rpm, as well as 392 Nm of torque in the range 1800 - 2500 rpm. As a gearbox, the flagship engine receives only an "automatic", with which it is able to accelerate the "Sportage-3" from 0 to 100 km / h in just 9.8 seconds or reach a maximum speed of 195 km / h. From generation to generation, the KIA Sportage loses its off-road qualities and turns into an ordinary family station wagon for driving on roads only with paved surfaces.

    The interior of the new and old KIA Sportage is also different, like heaven and earth. But on the other hand, the new Hyundai ix35 resembles suspiciously in many ways, at first glance one might even say - “in everything except the logo on the steering wheel”. But if you look closely, subtle variable differences are still present, and they consist in geometric differences - where the ix35 has rounded air ducts, a control panel, an on-board computer, where the Sportage III KIA has more angular lines, and vice versa. The seats are perfectly matched, at least visually. The wells of the speedometer and tachometer differ, the internal geometry of the steering wheel is the same, but its stylistic performance is different. It cannot be said that this is a clone, but journalists would say that it is a "rewrite" (a variable change of the text with full preservation of the meaning).
