• What can be cooked from squid: fast and tasty

    This tutorial will show you how to make a VERY big table from a hollow door and PVC pipes and fasteners. Such a table is suitable for workshops, offices, family dining rooms and even for children. I made a dozen of these as office desks. The one you see in the photo was my first creation.

    Each such table costs about 2500 rubles.

    We could buy ready-made tables for half the price, but these look much more respectable. They can be painted in any color, the surface is perfectly flat and smooth. And the biggest advantage is the size - 91.5 x 203 cm (36 x 80 inches).

    A few important points:

    1. Hollow filler vs. Solid aggregate A: I chose hollow parts to keep costs down. Since no one was going to use tables for heavy work, there was no need to use super strong materials. If you want to make a durable workbench, then it is better to take a solid door, which will cost an extra 800 rubles. And such doors are much heavier (which is not so bad, the design perfectly withstands such a weight). You can buy a ready-made countertop at Ikea if there is such a store nearby.

    2. Mounts A: All PVC parts were bought by me on the Internet. You will need desktop end caps, 4-way, and regular tee connectors. The total amount for one table is 970 rubles. These costs can be reduced if soldering is used instead of cross and tee joints, but this may have a worse effect on appearance finished table.

    3. Pipe A: I used PVC tubing from a regular plumbing store. With a big budget, I would take pipes not for plumbing, but for furniture, a higher class and looking better. They are stronger and more durable, but the economy has won. If we continue to develop PVC furniture, I will use special materials for furniture.

    Step 1: Tools

    For this table you need to take the usual tools:

    1. You will need some kind of pipe cutting tool - a hacksaw, a special knife for plastic pipes or an electric miter saw. The choice is yours!

    2. Hammer drill or electric screwdriver for attaching the table legs to the back of the table top.

    3. You need a minimum of 15 1.25" - 1.5" threaded screws and self-tapping screws. Screwdrivers are not always needed, but sometimes they are used to strengthen the fastening of plastic cups to the countertop.

    4. PVC cement is needed to strengthen all fasteners. All plastic parts will be securely glued together and will not fall apart. You can also use small 1/2" wood screws if cement is not available.

    Step 2: Details

    I used PVC furniture fittings. This is because I needed 4-way T-joints, foot cups, and flat-top end cups. The remaining elements may be from the plumbing class, but in terms of compatibility and planting depth, the classes are almost the same among themselves.

    I ordered all these parts online. It doesn't matter which store, as long as the assortment has all the set you need.

    I ordered these parts:

  • 5 x 1-1/4” PVC end caps
  • 5 x 1-1/4” PVC table end caps
  • 4 x 1-1/4” PVC 4 way T-pieces
  • 4 x 1-1/4” PVC regular tee connectors
  • 2 x 1-1/4” PVC cross connectors

    I used plumbing pipe to save on material costs, as furniture pipes can cost a lot more. It took me about 12 m of pipes for one table, I bought 3-meter pipes, which I cut into such segments:

  • 5 x 7.5 cm (3 inches)
  • 10 x 30 cm (12 inches)
  • 4 x 50 cm (20 inches)
  • 4 x 75 cm (30 inches)

    Step 3: Assembly: Side 1

    I will clearly show each stage of the assembly in the outline. I used SketchUp. It's better than showing you our dirty work office where we moved in photos.

    Let's get started:

    Side assembly 1

    First you need to assemble one of the two sides of the PVC frame, using the regular and 4-way T-joints, flat plugs and table plugs that are marked in the picture. The fasteners themselves are signed BLACK, dimensions of pipe sections - RED. This will be "SIDE 1", or the left side of the table.

    Apply PVC cement only on the inside of the connector, on the stop line. Make sure all parts are inserted into each other as expected, and then press the pipe into the connector and hold for 30 seconds.

    NOTE: most people will advise to apply cement to both the connector and the pipe, but personally I have found that this is not necessary.

    ANOTHER IMPORTANT THING: If you do not want to use cement as it is harmful indoors, use a screw between the connector and the pipe to seal the fixture.

    AND ANOTHER NOTE: I tried to fix the pipes so that all their marks are directed to the back (the rear is where the 4-way T-connectors are). This way they will not be visible from the outside of the table, and do not need to be washed with acetone for a cleaner look. I still didn’t manage to hide all the inscriptions, as you can see from the photo. Learn from my mistakes.

    Step 4: Assembly: Side 2

    This step exactly repeats the previous one, but the design of “Side 2” mirrors “Side 1”. 4 way tee connectors face the opposite direction when facing back.

    In this drawing, the dimensions of the pipes are also indicated RED, and connectors BLACK.

    Step 5: Assembly: BACK

    It's time to assemble the "Back" of the table, which is even simpler than the previous ones. You will need a desktop end cap, a flat end cap, and two cross connectors (we haven't used those yet). Connect long pieces of pipe (75 cm or 30 inches) with them so that the shape is something like a telephone pole.

    To assemble the central “pillar”, lay everything on the floor so that all the long pipes are parallel to each other. This will make it easier and more accurate.

    Step 6: Assembly: Combining Fragments

    Now you need to collect all the PVC fragments into one design.

    Insert the pipe ends from the “back side” into the appropriate SIDE 1 and SIDE 2 connectors. The end should look like the drawing. Again, I recommend that you dry everything first, and then glue it on the cement.

    Once the assembly is dry, separate the pieces and apply PVC cement to the SIDE 1 connectors and insert the back tubes into the SIDE 1 4-way T-pieces. Quickly make sure everything fits properly, squeeze for 30 seconds .

    Here you have finished the frame! Almost everything!

    Step 7: Assembly: Table Top

    Disadvantages of a hollow door:

    Hollow doors consist of an outer frame and various horizontal bars. Between them, the space is either filled with cardboard, or foam, or nothing at all.

    From the outside, we cannot see what is inside the door, so we can only randomly screw in screws to secure the table top to the table cups. It is equally likely to hit the bar or soft cardboard. In those places where there is cardboard, it is better to use a screwdriver to better fasten the structure. Here's how it's done:

    1. Lay the hollow door on the floor with the side that will be the front of the table. Then lay the PVC construction on top, upside down, so that the tabletop plugs adjoin the door.

    2. Center the entire structure (by eye, of course) so that it is at the same distance from the edges of the door. Then, using a pencil, mark where the plug holes meet the door.

    3. Remove the PVC construction from the door and set aside. Using a drill or electric screwdriver, drive a screw into each marked point.

    * If the screw goes through easily, you are in the voids of the door. Remove the screw and insert the driver into these holes (you can drill a larger hole if needed)
    * If the screw goes tighter, you hit the bar, and here you can do without a screw driver. Remove the screw.

    Once you have decided where the screws are and where not, make sure that all the screws are removed from the door and put the PVC structure upside down on the door again, adjusting the position of the plugs to the holes made.

    NOTE: All this can be avoided by using a solid massive door. It will be more expensive, but easier.

    Finally, insert the screws and tighten, thus securing the table top and legs. Before you is a finished table, though upside down.

    Step 8: Finished: Flip and That's It!

  • Building a house or renovating an apartment is always accompanied by a bunch of leftovers from consumables. Repair of the pipeline is also no exception, because after replacement metal pipes a lot of scraps remain on plastic, as well as connecting elements - fittings, which many owners simply throw away.

    However, there are also such creative people who can make durable and original furniture out of such rubbish, for example, tables or chairs, as well as other household items such as an organizer. In this article, we will analyze in detail some of these PVC pipe ideas.

    Do-it-yourself children's chair made of plastic pipes

    Polypropylene is a hypoallergenic and non-toxic material, so you can make various children's furniture from it without worrying about the health and well-being of the child. By embodying ideas from plastic pipes with your own hands, you can easily assemble a table, playpen, chair, etc.

    One of these simple projects can be a convenient high chair, which is assembled from pipes and fittings like a designer. The size of each detail will depend on the size of the desired result, but below we will give instructions in which we will tell you how to make a chair for a five-year-old child.

    To make a chair, you will need the following materials and tools:

    1. Glue for PVC;
    2. Approximately 3 meters of polymer pipe;
    3. 6 T-fittings;
    4. 8 elbow fittings (90°);
    5. Durable fabric;
    6. Saw with fine teeth;
    7. Sewing machine;
    8. Scissors.

    Building a chair:

    1. The first step is to cut the pipe into segments: 7 pcs. 33 cm(A), 4 pcs. 20 cm(B), 4 pcs. 13 cm(C) and 2 pcs. 18 cm(D);
    2. Take two parts A and fasten at all ends to the corner fitting;
    3. Insert all elements B into each of the fittings;
    4. On each element B, put on T-shaped connectors, unscrewing their perpendicular part perpendicular to element A;
    5. Connect the T-fittings in pairs with elements A. As a result, you should get parallel legs of the chair;
    6. Insert all elements C into the free ends of the fittings;
    7. Next, you need to put the structure so that the ends of the legs "look" at you;
    8. Take two corner fittings and put them on the parts C closest to you;
    9. Slip the two T-pieces over the C pieces further away from you, turning them so that the center connections are facing you;
    10. Next, you need to connect the inserted fittings with parts A parallel to the legs of the chair;
    11. We insert parts D into the free ends of the T-shaped fittings and put on them the corner fittings, turning them “face” to each other;
    12. We connect them with element A, finishing the back of the chair;
    13. Make a seat out of fabric by stretching it between parallel bars;
    14. Glue all connections, after which, let the chair dry.

    Office table with plastic frame

    Buying even the cheapest office desk can be a big deal for some people, so we'll show you how to make a desk out of plastic pipes. This project differs from the previous one in its complexity, so you will have to think through some parts on your own, but we will try to explain everything to you as clearly as possible.

    First of all, you need to decide on the size of the table. In our case, we take a finished worktop (915x2030 mm), under which we will assemble the frame. When choosing a countertop for your own table, pay attention to its weight and be guided by the rule: the less weight, the better for your table. The best solution for a countertop would be a hollow door leaf. You can also assemble the countertop yourself using flat boards, fasteners, a saw and a drill.

    First of all, prepare 12 meters of plastic pipe and cut it into the following parts:

    • 5 pieces of 7.5 cm;
    • 10 pieces of 30 cm;
    • 4 pieces of 50 cm;
    • And 4 pieces of 75 cm.

    Of the other parts for the frame, you will need the following:

    • 4 T-fittings;
    • 4 four-way fittings;
    • 2 cross fittings;
    • 10 caps for pipes and fittings.

    Having prepared all the necessary details, you can begin to assemble a table from polypropylene pipes. The first assembly is best done without the use of glue, and after assembly, glue all the joints one by one. Start the assembly by constructing the sides of the frame, on which the countertop will rest.

    Next, assemble the back, which will connect the two already assembled. To give the table additional stability, we recommend making a third leg on the back wall. When assembling the table, carefully monitor the parallelism of all elements in order to end up with an even design.

    At the final stage, it is necessary to connect all the parts into a single structure, having received the table frame. Check it for strength, correct the irregularities, after which, glue all the joints.

    To fix the table top:

    1. Lay the tabletop on the floor, turning it "face" down;
    2. Place the frame on top so that the top plugs fit snugly against the countertop;
    3. Circle adjacent plugs;
    4. Disconnect the plugs from the pipe, screw them to the countertop at the marked places;
    5. Install the table frame, and put the tabletop on it so that all the plugs fall into place.

    As a result, you will get an excellent table made of PVC pipes with your own hands. This material is so versatile that you can even make a PVC pipe bow that will work just fine.

    Shelving for summer cottages

    After repairs, not only polypropylene pipes can remain in the house, but also a metal profile, from which you can try to make a shelving for a summer residence without using welding. For work, we need only a tape measure, a pencil, a screwdriver and a hacksaw.

    First of all, it is necessary to design the future rack. Draw a diagram on paper, observing all dimensions. Next, you can buy a profile to an existing one, as well as find several sheets of plywood 15 mm thick. You can also make a PVC pipe rack with your own hands using a profile diagram.

    Let's analyze the manufacturing process using a specific example:

    1. Take the profile and cut it into pieces: 4 vertical posts, 8 front and 8 rear crossbars;
    2. Collect 4 frames, which should become shelves in the future;
    3. Using self-tapping screws, fix the received frames on vertical racks;
    4. If desired, you can screw the rack to the wall and paint it, after which, lay the plywood on the frames, making the shelves.

    Various interior elements made of PVC pipes

    For decorating the interior, as well as creating useful structures from PVC pipes, very short lengths of pipe can be used. So you can make organizers from short pipes, where you can put shoes, writing utensils and other small things into the holes.

    You can also easily make wine shelves from PVC pipes with your own hands. To do this, simply glue a few pipes, and screw the resulting structure to the wall. Similarly, you can make a holder for glasses. To do this, it is enough to cut the plastic pipe lengthwise, after which, fix it on the wall. The leg of the glass fits perfectly into the cut hole, and the rigidity of the polymer pipe does not allow it to fall out.

    If your house does not have enough space for outerwear, then a hanger made of plastic pipes is perfect solution this problem. You can design and assemble such a hanger, starting from examples with a table and a children's chair.

    In conclusion, I would like to say that plastic pipes are a cheap and light raw material for creating various decorative elements. Any object created by you can always be painted, covered with sparkles, or decorated with various elements, for example, shells glued on glue. Polypropylene rings can also be used for seasonal apartment decoration, for example, under New Year you can make a wall panel and fill it with New Year's paraphernalia, such as balls and figurines.

    As you can see, in order to create a cozy atmosphere and decorate an apartment, it is not necessary to spend a large amount of money, because the main thing is a creative approach that will allow you to create the desired result at minimal cost.

    Plastic pipes are one of the most popular craft materials. And this is quite natural: they are publicly available, they are inexpensive, cutting and installation do not require special skills and special equipment.

    Do-it-yourself crafts made of plastic pipes will look especially harmonious in the country. We share a selection of fresh ideas that motivate creative experiments.

    1. Water procedures

    On a hot summer day, you really want to freshen up in the country, quickly and conveniently. A shower made of plastic pipes will help with this. A watering hose must be attached to the plastic structure with holes. It remains only to turn on the water and enjoy the pleasant coolness.

    2. Comfortable seating

    The more plastic pipes will be included in the design of a chair or deck chair, the more weight it will be able to withstand. If you need a high chair for a child, then a minimum number of pipes is enough, and the seat can be made of dense fabric. A deck chair for an adult is best made entirely of plastic.

    3. Air beds

    Even the most ordinary walls country house, made from nondescript building blocks, will transform hanging flower beds. A child can also make such crafts from plastic pipes for a summer residence. Pipes with holes, plugs covering their side parts, and metal fasteners- that's all you need to make unusual flower beds.

    4. Dry things quickly - it's easy

    It is worth spending a little time - and you can make a compact clothes dryer out of plastic pipes. Such a product will weigh very little, so it is easy to put it in the most illuminated place on the site.

    5. To make strawberries taste better than those of the neighbors

    It often happens that strawberries grown in the usual way - in the garden, ripen unevenly and may even rot. Indeed, on one side of it the sun may not fall at all, since often the fruits lie on the ground or are under the leaves. A vertical bed made of a piece of plastic pipe will help solve the problem. large diameter. Strawberries, like a climbing plant, will definitely find their way out - through the holes in the plastic.

    6. Plastic fence

    Making an external fence separating the street from the backyard of plastic pipes is perhaps not best idea. But to protect them with a corral for animals or another summer cottage area is a decision that will be reasonable. To make this mini-fence look like a real one, paint it with silver paint.

    7. A fabulous place for friendly gatherings

    It is easy to assemble an unusual gazebo from pipes, which will surely become a favorite place for summer holidays. Stretch the ropes between the pipes and land under them climbing plants, for example, ivy. When he grows up, it will be pleasant to be in the gazebo even on a sunny day. To make the gazebo look more picturesque, use brown pipes.

    8. Efficient irrigation system

    Watering a lawn or other large area in the country is not the best thing. an exciting activity. An irrigation system for summer cottages made of plastic pipes will help to get rid of it. Simply lead a water hose to several connected segments and turn on the water. If you make the holes small, you get a drip irrigation system.

    9. Simple and mobile greenhouse

    Thin pipes become the main material for the manufacture of greenhouses. The main advantage of such crafts for giving from plastic pipes is its mobility. At the end of the summer season, the greenhouse is easy to disassemble, and the next - to mount it again in any chosen place.

    10. Terrace railing

    A small plastic fence for the terrace will show that during this period of time the owners of the cottage are not waiting for guests. In addition, ordinary fencing can be made from segments of plastic pipes. To make it look more spectacular, paint the plastic in a bright color.

    11. Flowerbed vertically

    Growing seedlings is a rather troublesome business. A flowerbed made of plastic pipes will help to make this process more organized and convenient. If you spend a little more time, then you can bring water to it, and then the process of watering the seedlings will become automated. It is enough to make holes in the bottom of the containers in which the plants are planted.

    12. Funny swing

    Plastic pipes, in which the ropes holding the swing are threaded, will become convenient handrails. The scheme for manufacturing such a swing is quite simple. Eight pieces of pipe with holes, a rope and a board - that's all you need to make them.

    13. For outdoor enthusiasts

    Active recreation, in which all family members participate, is a great way to spend time in the country. Both adults and children will be fascinated by playing football. Finding the ball will not be difficult, it's just outside the gate. They can be assembled from plastic pipes. You will also need a segment of any grid.

    Support for flowers.

    Decorate your patio or patio flowering plants- great idea. But carrying out a lot of pots and placing them in different places can be a tedious task. A flower stand made of plastic pipes will help solve the problem. It weighs very little, so rearranging it if necessary is very easy.

    16. Concise flower pots

    The same flower pots will make the interior of a country house more stylish and cozy. If you don’t want to spend extra money, then they can be made from equal segments of a plastic pipe. As the bottom of the flower pots are plugs for PVC pipes. They just need to be put on one of the edges.

    17. To feel like a knight

    Depending on the type, some pipes are fairly easy to bend. This is possible if the product is small in diameter and made of flexible plastic. If bending the pipe fails, it can be slightly heated. For example, with a building hair dryer or over an open flame.

    Either from a desire to save money, or from an overabundance of imagination, our people have learned to benefit from those objects and things that a pedantic European would have sent to a landfill long ago. From build greenhouses and make palm trees, from - pretty garden figurines, and from it you can collect any garden furniture. Scraps of plastic pipes left after repair can also be used to good use. They make the simplest decorative things, beds, chairs and even greenhouses - the scope for imagination is huge, and we have collected only the most interesting ideas crafts made from plastic pipes that can serve as a guide to action or a source of inspiration.

    Pipe connection methods

    Plastic pipes are like designer parts. By combining segments of different lengths and connecting them at different angles, you can get anything: a beginner will be glad that he built the simplest hanger, and a professional will easily assemble a bunk bed. The main thing is to be able to connect the pipes correctly, and then it will be possible to do any thing necessary in the household.

    Plastic pipes are a collective name, and which are made from polymers. The greatest demand is and. Segments of different lengths and diameters remain after repair engineering networks in an apartment or in a country house, and, as a rule, they are cluttered in pantries, or rather cluttered, until enterprising craftsmen began to use them for other than their intended purpose. Plastic pipes are characterized by low weight, high strength and durability, they are easy to maintain and safe.

    Polypropylene pipes are connected using a special welding machine. It is expensive - it is more profitable to rent it, and it will take a little time to learn how to work with it. You can use compression fittings to connect. In any case, the assembled product will be non-separable.

    When we are talking about crafts from plastic pipes, usually refers to PVC pipes, which can connect with each other in the following ways:

    • socket connection with rubber seal. Manufacturers supply socket pipes with a rubber seal located at the end, thanks to which the work on connecting pipes is carried out simply and quickly, and the joint is sealed. At the first stage, the socket of one pipe and the smooth part of the other are cleaned of dust and dirt. A chamfer is removed from the smooth end of the pipe (an angle of 15 degrees, chamfering cutters can be used) and a mark is applied indicating the depth to which the pipe will enter the socket. The sealing ring of the socket and the smooth part of the pipe are lubricated with a silicone compound and inserted one part into the other, focusing on the mark. For plumbing and sewerage good connection, and if you collect shelves or furniture, then it is not rigid enough. The main advantages: simplicity and the possibility of dismantling, therefore, such a connection is used for the construction of temporary buildings and things;
    • adhesive connection. The ends of the pipes to be connected are chamfered (some just surface sandpaper), then marks are applied indicating the depth of the fitting. The ends of the pipes are degreased with methylene chloride, then the adhesive is applied with a brush to the pipe and inside the chamfer or socket. The pipe is inserted into the fitting (or socket), rotated ¼ turn for better distribution of the adhesive, then the elements can be pressed for 30-60 seconds. It is desirable to carry out all work quickly. The remaining glue is immediately removed, and the connection is allowed to dry for several hours. The process is more laborious, but the joint is more reliable;
    • flange connection. Separate sections are connected using special fittings. Before performing work, the ends of the pipes are cleaned. A flange is put on the cut, then a rubber gasket, onto which the flange is pushed. The elements are connected by means of bolts with a counter flange. Then the bolts are evenly tightened, due to which the alignment of the flanges is achieved. The connection is reliable, the design is collapsible.

    When the technology for connecting plastic pipes has been mastered, we can assume that almost any craft can be done. It is only important to draw a sketch in advance or make a drawing, and correctly calculate the length of all segments. You can build anything from such parts - we will list only some ideas for crafts from plastic pipes with our own hands.

    No. 1. Organizer

    The most unpretentious way to use the remains of plastic pipes. You can take pipes of small and medium diameter, even segments of small length will fit. The first option is a mobile organizer. It is enough to cut segments of different heights and glue them together in an arbitrary order or following some pattern (for example, one higher segment in the center, the rest around it). Such a stand is suitable for storing stationery near the desktop or for organizing all kinds of bolts and other fasteners in the workshop.

    The second option is stationary. On the one hand, the pipe must be cut at an angle (the most popular option is 45 degrees, but it can be less if small elements are stored). Then the cut elements are attached to a vertical surface using. You can mount the organizer elements on a wall or a specially installed board.

    No. 2. Decorative frame or partition

    Thin rings, which are easy to obtain when cutting plastic pipes, are a versatile material for creating decor. You can use pipes different diameter– so even more interesting. Plastic rings make a wonderful frame. It is enough to draw a layout of the future product on paper in advance and glue individual rings directly on it. From them you can get both a strict symmetrical pattern, and something chaotic. If you then paint it, then such a frame for a mirror or a picture can hardly be called a simple craft - it will be a cool designer thing.

    Similarly, you can get a decorative partition. Gluing, of course, will take a little longer, but the effort is worth it. The partition will look very interesting, weigh a little and come in handy, for example, to delimit zones in the bathroom.

    No. 3. Shoe rack and wine bottle holder

    There are a lot of options to organize the storage of clothes using plastic pipes, and all these crafts are quite simple to implement.

    No. 8. Rack for living room, hallway, pantry

    By connecting several pipe sections in the required order, you can get a practical and inexpensive rack that will fully satisfy your needs in terms of size, shape and configuration. It can be both quite modest in size, and a real giant. If the rack is located in the living room, then the pipes can be painted, and glass or plywood can be used as countertops. When it comes to or a workshop, there is no particular need for decoration.

    No. 9. Football goal

    If country cottage area has, then you can build a small football goal. Only a few connections will need to be made, but before that, of course, everything will have to be carefully calculated and measured. When the frame is ready, a mesh is put on it, and the gate is ready. When the kids grow up, the product can be disassembled, and the pipes can be reused to create other crafts.

    Similarly, you can make a small children's playhouse. We all once loved to build huts, gather there with a company and play. It was especially cozy and mysterious. The frame for the house of pipes is made elementary. Children will only have to throw a thick fabric over it and enjoy their own little castle.

    No. 10. Arena for children

    There is nothing complicated in the design of the playpen. However, the finished product in the store is not cheap. A budget alternative is available to those who have a decent amount of plastic pipes in stock, the time and desire to learn how to connect individual segments into a single structure. For manufacturing, you will need a lot of pipes, so home craftsmen advise you to just buy them in a store - it will still turn out cheaper than a ready-made arena, and the pipes can then be reused.

    After the arena scheme has been created with an indication of its dimensions, pipes are cut. Vertical partitions are interconnected by short horizontal pipe sections at the top and bottom. However, variations are possible in the design of the arena.

    No. 11. Chairs made of plastic pipes

    Here you will need already confident skills in connecting individual pipe sections. Depending on your desire and degree of preparation, you can make a simple children's stool, as well as a comfortable chair for adults, or even an armchair. After the frame is ready, the seat is made. It can be woven from thread, rope, or use a dense fabric. Then you can put soft pillows on top. Having mastered the manufacturing technique, it will be possible to build almost all the furniture for a summer residence.

    No. 12. bunk bed

    Yes, it is quite possible to assemble a frame for from ordinary plastic pipes. Pipes are made not only supporting elements, but also a staircase, and, of course, lamellas under. The level of complexity here is increased, it is better to take up the work for those who have already tried their hand at making simpler crafts. Do not neglect drawing up a drawing and scrupulous measurements.

    A bed made in this way will be a real find for a country house of a small area, because not everyone can afford to buy a ready-made bunk bed for the dacha, but somehow it is necessary to solve the placement problem.

    No. 13. garden arch

    How beautiful the arches entwined with plants and flowers look in the garden. The main difficulty in making a garden arch from plastic pipes is that individual segments will have to be bent. The easiest way to give the necessary shape to the pipes is with a gas burner. A separate section is heated to a state where the material will succumb to deformation, then it is given the necessary shape. Someone decides not to bother and just connect several pipe sections at an angle. Then the upper part of the arch will resemble a trapezoid or a polygon in shape. Between the two arched vaults, horizontal elements are attached so that in the future the arch will be as much as possible covered with greenery. Do not forget to securely fix the structure in the soil.

    No. 14. Alcove

    Building with plastic pipes is much easier than anyone can imagine. If you take long enough segments, then you don’t even have to connect anything. Two pipes of the required length are arched and fixed to the ground. The distance between the elements of the future frame should be such that it fits dinner table or other items. It remains only, and everything is ready.

    The design of the gazebo may be slightly different, resembling a house in shape. In this case, you will have to connect individual elements.

    No. 15. carport

    The design itself is simple, but the difficulties can be associated with a decent size of the canopy, because it must be wide and high enough so that the car can safely hide under it. The frame is assembled with special care, fastened to the ground and to the adjacent wall, if any, covered from above with a dense awning fabric that will protect the car from scorching sun rays and rain. To call this product a handicraft, even the tongue does not turn - this is already a small architectural form.

    No. 16. Greenhouse

    A small greenhouse is done elementarily. You will need a few pipes, there will also not be very many connections. After the frame is assembled and fixed in the ground, it remains only to cover it with agrofibre. It will be possible to make such a greenhouse in just a couple of hours, and the benefits from it will be huge.

    No. 17. Greenhouse made of plastic pipes

    A full-fledged build, of course, is more difficult than a greenhouse. It will take a lot more material, and it will take a lot of time. The size of the greenhouse can be almost any. The procedure is as follows:

    From pipes, you can make a frame for a greenhouse of almost any shape, but the arched one remains the most preferable.

    No. 18. seedling containers

    If everyone in the country square meter on the account, it's time to implement the idea of vertical gardens. Thus, it is convenient to grow greens and some berries. From scraps of plastic sewer pipes excellent containers will come out if holes are cut in advance for seedlings and the outflow of excess water. It remains only to fill the soil containers and place the vertical beds one above the other. You can attach them again to the stand of plastic pipes. Some connect the beds with ropes and hang them from the wall - there are many options.

    Recently, PVC products are in great demand. Firstly, due to the wide variety of designs, secondly, accessibility, and, thirdly, such items can be made independently.

    This article will tell you how to make a table using PVC pipes. A door is used as a countertop, so our table will turn out to be very large.

    Material selection

    1. Hollow or solid. First of all, it depends on what the table will be used for. If you do not plan heavy work on it, you do not need to use particularly durable materials. If you need stability, go for a solid door or a prefabricated countertop, the latter option being more expensive. Keep in mind that a solid door is much heavier than a hollow one.

    2. What fasteners are required? Firstly, desktop plugs, and secondly, cross and T-shaped connectors. For greater savings, instead of using the latter, you can solder the pipes. Please note that tables will look more aesthetic with connectors.

    3. Choose pipes. You need to look for them in a plumbing supply store, there are, of course, special furniture ones, but they will cost more in price. These tubes are stronger and last longer.

    Training

    We will need the following tools:

    • hacksaw/miter saw for pipe cutting
    • puncher / screwdriver to attach the legs to the table top
    • 15 threaded screws at 1.251.5
    • PVC cement or small screws for strength

    Prepare materials:

    • 5 end caps and table top caps
    • 4 each of cross, T-shaped regular and T-shaped four-way connectors
    • pipe sections: 5 x 7.5 cm, 10 x 30 cm, 4 x 50 cm, 4 x 75 cm.

    Plugs and fasteners can be bought at both plumbing and furniture stores. The latter will cost more, but have a longer service life. You can purchase plumbing pipes and furniture fixtures, as all sizes are compatible.

    Frame assembly

    For convenience, the legs of the table are located on 3 sides of the table and are connected by 2 horizontal bars for rigidity. First we assemble each of the sides separately, then we connect them together.

    Important! First we assemble without cement, so that we can fix it, then we disassemble and fix it. After treatment with PVC cement, the elements can no longer be separated. For fixing, you need to cover the inside of the fastening hole or plug with cement, insert the pipe and press for 30 seconds.

    1. Let's start from the narrow side. We connect in series, a 30 cm pipe, a T-shaped mount, another of the same pipe and mount, a 7.5 cm piece and a desktop plug.

    2. We repeat the same thing, only instead of the usual fasteners we use four-sided ones.

    3. We fasten the resulting legs with 50 cm pipes

    4. The second narrow side is completely symmetrical to the first

    5. For the last side, repeat step 1, but instead of T-shaped, we will take cruciform connectors.

    6. We insert pipes of 75 cm into the holes of the connectors

    7. We connect the sides with the back. The frame is ready.

    Completion of assembly

    The last thing to do is attach the countertop. The task becomes more complicated if you choose a hollow door. Its construction consists of wooden planks and cavities filled with cardboard, foam, or not filled at all. We can't determine where the slats are, so if the door is filled with cardboard, we'll use the screw drivers.

    First, flip the door face down. Put the frame down with the desktop plugs, set it in the center. Note where the holes should be. Using a hammer drill or a screwdriver, screw the screws.

    If you hit a cavity (the screw went in easily), insert the screw. Increase the depth of the hole if necessary. If you hit the bar (the screw went in tighter), then everything is in order. Now take out all the screws, put the PVC construction and fix it.

    Our table is ready. Now it can be painted or varnished. This will extend the service life, because waterproof paints, varnishes and other coatings will protect the table from unnecessary dirt.
