FSUE "NPO" Technomash "is the head enterprise of the state corporation" Roscosmos "for the implementation of the Federal Space Program in the field of new technologies. Range of work - from the production of unique components to certification of quality management and standardization of new space technology. On laser and ultrasonic quality control in the production of combustion chambers rocket engines, technological support of projects to create launch vehicles of the "Angara" and "Soyuz-5" types, as well as the new Russian manned spacecraft "Federation" in an interview with RIA Novosti, said Dmitry Panov, general director of FSUE "NPO" Tekhnomash ". Interviewed by special correspondent Alexander Kovalev.

    - Due to the identified problems with engines produced by the Voronezh Mechanical Plant (VMZ), the launches of Protons were curtailed for a year, on June 8, 2017, the first start after the break took place. Is NPO Technomash involved in any way in the checks of 71 recalled engines for Protons? What kind of non-destructive testing methods are used to identify defects?

Our experts took an active part in the work of the commission to identify the causes of the defects and develop measures to eliminate and prevent them. One of the directions is to search for possible methods to determine the presence of the wrong grade of solder. Together with the Lomonosov Moscow State University, the Institute of Physical and Technical Problems of the State Atomic Energy Corporation "Rosatom", the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, we have carried out work with samples and models to test seven control methods. The experiment of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research - the method of neutron activation showed the prospect of solving the problem. Today the work is already being completed, an unambiguous answer will soon be received, and most likely it will be possible to determine the presence of possible defects without disassembling the engines.

    - The launch of the multifunctional laboratory module (MLM) on the ISS is again postponed due to a blockage detected in the fuel system. How, in your expert opinion, can the problem be solved without cutting the fuel tanks? Does the company have innovative proposals for finishing MLM?

Together with the specialists of the Khrunichev Center (MLM developer), we consider all possible options bringing fuel tanks up to documentation requirements. The complexity of the design of the tanks does not allow such operations to be carried out without cutting, and therefore, a method for cleaning fuel tanks has been developed, a cleaning unit has been designed, and it is already being manufactured. All work is progressing on schedule.

    - There is a phased change of basic carrier rockets and a gradual transition to new carriers. What is the role of the enterprise in this specific examples- new launch vehicles of the "Angara" type and the "Soyuz-5" being created?

    - "Tekhnomash" is engaged in technological support of the creation of products, including those that you named. Our work begins at the earliest stages - with the definition of the main constructive solutions when the main technologies and cooperation of producers are selected. Then, when the development of design documentation is already underway, our enterprise simultaneously designs special equipment and works out new ones with manufacturers. technological processes... As for the new Soyuz-5 carrier rocket, today work on this rocket is still at an early stage - its appearance is being determined, design and technological solutions are being developed. Therefore, here "Tekhnomash" participates in the preparation of proposals for key applied technologies and in the analysis of future cooperation in manufacturing.

    - The President of Russia has supported the project to create a super-heavy launch vehicle. How will the company participate in its creation?

Design work on the super-heavy has been going on for several years. They are included in the Federal Space Program. And we, of course, are actively in the process: we participated in the development of the directive technology for manufacturing the central unit and developed a project for the assembly plant for the central unit of this promising carrier. The final appearance of the rocket is now being determined, and as soon as the work moves to the next stage, we will clarify the list of tasks.

    - Is it true that the structurally super-heavy launch vehicle will consist of components of the Soyuz-5 missiles and the hydrogen third stage of the Angara-A5V missile?

As part of determining the appearance of the launch vehicle, several design options are considered, among them there is the one that you named.

    - Could you, please, tell us, for which launch vehicles are the installations for soldering the units of the combustion chambers of liquid-propellant engines with induction heating and automated control of temperature-time parameters?

The use of the technology of high-temperature vacuum-compression brazing of units of combustion chambers of liquid engines using induction heating at one time made it possible to gain an advantage over the American versions of liquid-propellant rocket engines (LPRE). This technology has been introduced into the production of all modern Russian rocket engines. It allows the creation of cooling channels directly inside the combustion chambers. This technology is also used in those engines, in particular the RD-180, which the Americans purchase for their Atlas missiles. New Russian electrothermo-vacuum induction installations for soldering combustion chamber assemblies under pressure with automated control of temperature and time parameters of the process are designed for the production of Angara A5, Soyuz 2.1v launch vehicles and the advanced superheavy that we talked about.

    - Please tell us in detail what new projects Tekhnomash will present in July at the MAKS-2017 aerospace show?

MAX is a special event for us. And our exposition will traditionally become part of the joint stand of the Roscosmos state corporation. This year, for the first time, we will position Technomash as a diversified industry engineering company with expanded competencies related to the modernization of the industry's technological equipment. We are planning to show an installation for automated laser ultrasonic control of the quality of soldering of nozzles and combustion chambers of liquid-propellant rocket engines. This is a unique equipment that allows solving previously inaccessible tasks, for example, control of brazing of an inner wall finned with thin ribs to a thin outer wall of a nozzle. The very technology of this soldering is extremely difficult to implement, and checking its quality was either impossible in full, or very expensive. Here, the software developed by Technomash was used, which made it possible to fully automate the search for defects and give the result to the operator in a simple and understandable form. We will also show machines with numerical control (CNC) - milling machine SVO25 for processing the wafer background of cylindrical parts, of which, as you understand, there are many in the rocket, and the multi-axis winding machine SNP25, designed to form parts from composite materials. Equipment for welding pipelines and fuel lines of engines and launch vehicles will also be presented. Our welding heads GNS14 and GSK, with their small dimensions, provide enormous opportunities for welding steel and aluminum pipelines: with their help, pipelines with a diameter of six to 560 millimeters are welded with very high degree reliability of seams.

    - NPO Tekhnomash and the STAN group of companies signed an agreement. It is known that your company will develop and offer technologies, and STAN will build machine tools. What new technologies in question? Which ones have already been created and are being introduced into production at STAN? What machines are already under construction and what new projects are they needed for?

For the successful development and further use of the technologies developed by us, it is necessary to create a special technological equipment, which, however, is also designed by our company. And the manufacture of such equipment will be carried out by "STAN" and other machine-tool enterprises. This agreement is part of the general strategy of the Roscosmos state corporation to develop public-private partnerships beneficial to both parties. We have been successfully cooperating with STAN for a long time.

This has developed historically, since the time when joint work was carried out with the Kolomna Heavy Machine-Tool Building Plant, which was part of the "Ministry of General Machinery" system, and then the "STAN" group bought it. Well, the developments and projects remained, and, of course, we continue them. A number of joint development work was carried out, which made it possible to produce equipment that has no analogues at Russian plants for Roscosmos enterprises. Such projects, for example, include equipment for mirror milling of shells to create a waffle background on them, which greatly facilitates the hull command parts of launch vehicles. A number of machine tools for the production of liquid-propellant rocket engines have been created, where there is equipment for rotary drawing of the shells of combustion chambers, milling of straight and screw cooling channels inside combustion chambers, electrothermo-vacuum induction installations for automated controlled soldering of shells of combustion chambers under pressure. In addition, equipment has been created for carrying out automated contact and non-contact methods for controlling the geometry and quality of soldering and milling of cooling channels. So we can say that we went out on new stage cooperation with "STAN" and we hope that it will be very fruitful. There are already common promising projects in the field of creating technologies and equipment for the production of advanced launch vehicles and spacecraft, primarily for the new Federation spacecraft.

    - Moscow and Beijing intend to increase cooperation in the space sector, in particular, on possible deliveries of rocket engines and certain types of technological equipment to China. This was stated by Vladimir Putin following his visit to China. Is Tekhnomash cooperating with China in the framework of import substitution of supplies from the EU and the USA? What did you manage to agree on at the AirshowChina exhibition in Juhai and after it?

So far, our cooperation with China can only be called a framework. There are agreements of intent, plans that we discussed in Juhai. But the main task of all import substitution projects for us is the creation of our own Russian technologies and equipment.

    - It's time to sum up the interim results of 2017. What can you boast about?

First of all, we are expected to provide specific solutions for industry technological tasks... Therefore, we have developed a section related to the technological development of the industry, which was included in the approved development strategy of the state corporation Roscosmos. These developments also became part of the project for forecasting the scientific and technological development of Russia until 2030. This year we carried out a technological survey of a number of Roscosmos enterprises, such as the Voronezh Mechanical Plant, for example, we issued metrological conclusions on the projects of the lunar program and the project for the construction of the Vostochny cosmodrome. We carry out production certification of enterprises to create an interactive technological map of the rocket and space industry. Together with the Stankin University, we began training and retraining of technological personnel in the "School of the Chief Technologist" industry. In general, if you count from the beginning of the year, we have created about ten units of unique technological equipment. Tekhnomash's revenue in 2017 quadrupled compared to the previous year and amounted to about 8 billion rubles, including due to new contracts through the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia. But we still have something to work on.

    MOSCOW, RIA Novosti

Several leaders of the space industry, who wrote earlier letters of resignation, leave their post in early August: Vladimir Solntsev, who headed RSC Energia, Dmitry Panov, who headed NPO Tekhnomash since 2012, the head of NPO named after V.I. Lavochkin Sergey Lemeshevsky, against whom a criminal case has been opened. Anton Zhiganov, executive director for commercialization and business development of Roscosmos, confirmed to RIA Novosti that he is leaving the state corporation.

Dmitry Rogozin, who was appointed to the post of head of Roscosmos on May 24, 2018, announced on June 6 that the changes in the management of enterprises in the Russian rocket and space industry would be "point-like".

    Vladimir Solntsev

RSC Energia General Director Vladimir Solntsev will vacate his post on August 3. The fact that he wrote a letter of resignation became known exactly one month ago, on July 3. In his place, it is planned to appoint the chief designer of manned space complexes of RSC Energia, Sergei Romanov, while he is acting. It is expected that Romanov's candidacy will be approved by the corporation's board of directors, the new composition of which will be elected in August.

RSC Energia is the only Russian manufacturer of manned and cargo spacecraft. Currently, 83.9% of the company's shares are owned by Roskosmos or trust management of subsidiaries. The rest of the shares are held by minority shareholders. Recently, the state corporation came out with a proposal to buy out the company's shares held by the owners.

It is expected that the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation will soon conduct a comprehensive audit of RSC Energia at the request of Roscosmos. At the same time, the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation is ready to inspect space enterprises if it receives an appropriate order, said the chairman of the joint venture, Alexei Kudrin. The head of the department also recalled that the Accounts Chamber can conduct an audit only at the direction of the president, the State Duma and the government.

    Dmitry Panov

Labor relations with Dmitry Panov, who worked at FSUE NPO Tekhnomash since 2012 (including in the status of acting General Director), will also be terminated on August 3, 2018. He will be asked to continue labor activity at one of the enterprises of the rocket and space industry, Roskosmos reported.

Position and. O. Vladimir Vlasyuk took over the general director of Tekhnomash.

NPO Tekhnomash is the head enterprise of Roscosmos for the technological support of the creation of rocket and space technology products, for the implementation of the RF state program "Development of the military-industrial complex", the Federal Space Program for 2016-2025, as well as the FKP "Maintenance, Development and GLONASS systems for 2012-2020 "and the program" Development of Russian spaceports for 2006-2015.

The range of work of NPO Technomash covers all machine-building technologies: from obtaining blanks to assembly and functional testing of products, from control methods to standardization and certification of products, technologies, equipment and quality management systems of organizations. equipment for the rocket and space industry in Russia, as well as other sectors of the economy.

    Anton Zhiganov

The executive director for commercialization and business development of the state corporation "Roscosmos" Anton Zhiganov, in turn, also confirmed to RIA Novosti that he was leaving his post on August 3.

Zhiganov entered the space industry in 2014, even under the former head of Roscosmos, Igor Komarov, who offered him to head the planning and performance management department, and in 2017 Zhiganov was promoted to executive director for business development and commercialization.

    Sergey Lemeshevsky

The head of the Lavochkin NPO (the manufacturer of the Fregat upper stages and all Russian interplanetary stations) was forced to leave his post on August 2 in connection with the initiation of a criminal case against him under the article "Large-scale fraud." And about. Harun Karchaev, Lemeshevsky's deputy for security, has been appointed general director of this enterprise.

Earlier, the general director of the NGO Lavochkin, the deputy of the Moscow Regional Duma Lemeshevsky, as well as the head of the directorate for legal support of the NGO, Yekaterina Averyanova, and the chairman of the law firm Tretyakov and Partners, Tretyakov, were charged with large-scale fraud. All of them face up to 10 years in prison.

According to the investigation, the money was stolen through fictitious agreements with the Tretyakov & Partners law firm. In fact, the investigators believe that legal services were performed by staff members of the NGO, and the total amount of payments to the law firm for two years amounted to about 330 million rubles. The Babushkinsky Court of Moscow on Tuesday detained lawyer Igor Tretyakov. The arrest period is set until September 17. The defense is expected to appeal this decision.

    Gone earlier

At the initiative of Dmitry Rogozin, General Director of Roskomos, personnel changes were started at the enterprises of the industry. At the end of May, Rano Dzhuraeva left the post of the Center for Operation of Ground-Based Space Infrastructure Objects (TSENKI). was replaced by Andrey Okhlopkov, who oversaw the project of creating Angara launch vehicles at the Khrunichev Center. In addition, the leadership of the Progress Rocket and Space Center (RSC) was replaced: Dmitry Baranov was appointed general director, replacing Alexander Kirilin, who was accused of exceeding official powers. Other, less noticeable rearrangements also took place.

The head of the Roskosmos head enterprise will change the head
And about. Dmitry Panov, general director of Tekhnomash, will remain at Roscosmos, but will cease to lead the manufacturer of rocketry, the state corporation said

Dmitry Panov is leaving the post of acting general director of NPO Tekhnomash, and Vladimir Vlasyuk will take his place, Vladimir Ustimenko, head of the press service of Roscosmos, told RBC. At the same time, Panov does not leave Roscosmos, he added.
“This is a joint decision of both his [Dmitry Panov] and the company's management. An offer will be made to him for further work in the industry. He never leaves Roscosmos. Next week, probably, it will already be possible to talk about what position Panov will take, ”explained Ustimenko.

A message on the Roskosmos website indicates that Panov will work at the post until August 3. He came to Tekhnomash in 2012.

Vlasyuk, who will replace Panov, previously worked as deputy general director of the Central Research Institute of Chemistry and Mechanics, first deputy chief designer of the Russian Federal Nuclear Center, general director of JSC Izumrud.

Tekhnomash is the head enterprise of Roskosmos for the implementation of the Federal Space Program; it develops equipment for the rocket and space industry.

In March, S7 Space, a subsidiary of S7, decided not to buy Russian Soyuz-5 missiles, arguing that their high price and rapid obsolescence. “In fact, this is a fatter and heavier Zenith rocket. Why make a new Zenit, so that in 15 years it is outdated? " - explained the head of the company Sergey Sopov.

Panov replied that "Soyuz-5" cannot be called a modification of "Zenith", it is "in principle a new product." “To say that a project that is at the very start will quickly become outdated is somehow premature, to put it mildly, and reckless,” he stressed.

In May, the head of Roskosmos was replaced by former Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, who oversaw the space industry in the Cabinet of Ministers. A source of RBC in his entourage said that the corporation was waiting for a big reform. The appointment of Rogozin was followed by personnel changes at the enterprises of the industry: ex-head of RSC Energia Nikolay Sevastyanov became the first deputy head of the corporation, and acting A former employee of the GKNPTs im. Khrunicheva Andrey Okhlopkov. The head of the department was also replaced international cooperation"Roskosmos" and the director of the RCC "Progress". At the end of June, the former head of the URKK, Yuri Vlasov, was appointed an advisor to Rogozin.

These are 3 first-rate sensations. On December 29, instead of going to the bathhouse with his comrades, Dmitry Panov, the general director of the head enterprise of Roscosmos, announced the self-annihilation of the Russian space industry.

"It was decided to make and launch on the market a lightweight version intended for commercial use - Proton Light. Its difference is that there will be not four steps, as in the heavy version, but three. More fuel will enter the second stage. The propulsion system can now be turned on many times. Due to this, the mass put into orbit increases to 5 tons, and the starting mass decreases by 100 tons. The price of all this beauty is estimated at around $ 50-55 million. That is, in general, the respected Mr. Musk must now scratch his head hard."— Panov reported in the enemy network FB.

See what in this CEO message is the real Supernova Explosion?

Sensation 1. What is this Proton Light for commercial purposes ??!

And the great Angara rocket, which Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin himself consecrated? A single line of hangar carriers - cheap, mass-produced, available for all types of loads from the lightest to the heaviest? Angara, which they began to do in full still under Mr. Yeltsin ?? Heavy Angara-5 matches the parameters of the Proton Light. But in the Angara, the main idea was serial production - mass, serial production to reduce the cost of each carrier.

Angara - everything? After 20 years of work and countless billions that were (allegedly) invested in it? Angara - for which a special multibillion-dollar launch complex is now being built at the great Vostochny cosmodrome? Or will Roskosmos now compete with itself? To beat off commercial orders from Angara-5 for the new Proton Light? At the same time, it is a recognition that neither Proton (nor, apparently, Angara) can compete in price with the Falcons.

But this is not yet the main sensation. This is a small seed. Home is ahead!

Sensation 2. Dmitry Panov's text - reprinted by TASS, that is, the authorship is confirmed - proves that the person holding the position of General Director of NPO Tekhnomash, the head enterprise of Roscosmos, does not understand the difference between placing payloads into low Earth orbit (LEO) and geostationary (GSO, where GTO), does not have the most basic knowledge about the state of the space industries in Russia and the United States.

Listen, listen ... A literal quote from the CEO of Technomash:
"I'll start from afar. Elon Musk and his SpaceX made and marketed the Falcon9 launch vehicle. Experts estimate its cost at about 60-65 million dollars, and the payload of the latest modifications reaches 5.5 tons with the possibility of a soft return of the first stage. This, of course, was such a serious "knife in the back" for us, because the heavy Proton-M is engaged in launching into orbit, which has completely different tasks, capacities, and prices."

The General Director of Technomash confuses the output of loads to the Geotransfer Orbit (GTO) and Low Earth Orbit (LEO).

5.5 tonnes is the Falkon9 payload on a Geo-Transition Orbit (GTO) assuming a soft landing of the first stage (proven - see eg Flight 22 (SES-9) 5271 kg on a GTO). Do you know what is the payload of the Proton-M at the GPO? 6.3 tons! Is 6.3 tons something completely different than 5.5 tons? Moreover, 5.5 tons is in the version with a soft landing. Without a soft landing, the Falkon9 brings 8.3 tons to the GTO. The Falcon-9 and Proton-M rockets are heavy rockets of the same class, with almost identical characteristics. In low earth orbit, LEO, Proton-M puts 23 tons, and Falcon-9 - 22.8 tons. The only noticeable difference for the customer is that Falcon-9 has a soft landing of the first stage, while Proton-M does not. This leads to the fact that if the output load is not maximum (this is almost always the case), then the landing of the first stage is possible.

I admit that the CEO may not know the exact numbers, he may even confuse LEO and GTO - although this is already a level below any reader of a blog about space. But how could the General Director from Roscosmos not know that Falcon-9 and Proton-M are now almost identical in capabilities? It's the same as for school teacher mathematicians do not know the Pythagorean theorem (Pythagorean pants are equal on all sides)) or the sum of the angles of a triangle. How is ignorance of this magnitude possible in your specialty?

Sensation 3. And what is this completely desperate admission about "a completely different price"? The Falcon 9 price is really $ 60-65 million. There is no need for experts, this is open data from their website (http://www.spacex.com/about/capabilities), it says $ 62M and "moderate discounts are possible when ordering a series of launches." And the price of Proton-M turns out to be "completely different" ?? The context makes it clear that there is much more. What evil tongues have been talking about for a long time. Evil tongues said that the real price of Protons is> $ 100 or even> $ 120 million dollars, but this has never been admitted by Roscosmos. And finally, is it publicly acknowledged?

Or does Mr. Panov not even know the price of his own Proton-M, and from his drunken eyes carries complete nonsense? But this nonsense itself was reprinted word for word by TASS (http://tass.ru/kosmos/3914445) and other Russian media outlets.

Roscosmos' New Year's sensation was a success. But what needs to be scratched, to whom and with what instrument, remains not entirely clear.
