    What to make of the old washing machine and gas stove

    Gas stove

    It turned out to be a practical outdoor stove! Removed all unnecessary. I cut out two holes with a grinder: one for a pan (pan), the second for a pipe for traction (photo 2). Firewood is burned on a grate inside the cabinet. The thrust is great! The soup is cooked for 20-25 minutes. If necessary, the oven can be easily turned into a brazier by placing on top metal box for burning firewood.

    Do-it-yourself miracle pitchfork

    I propose a tool that I made 20 years ago and called it "combined pitchfork".

    With the advent of such a pitchfork (see photo), you will no longer need a shovel or a conventional pitchfork. They are easy to work on both dry land and wet. The earth does not stick to them, the roots in the earth are cut freely, which cannot be done with a pitchfork, and it is hard to work with a shovel, especially for the elderly.

    DIY homemade mole repeller

    To fight moles, I took a metal tube with a diameter of 20 mm (you can use a ski pole or a piece of reinforcement 70-100 cm long), two metal beer cans and a wire 20-25 cm. I make a hole in the bottom of the can so that during the rain they did not accumulate water, the jars were lighter.

    I thread the ends of the wire into the upper part of the cans and fix it (like a hook), and insert the middle of the wire into the hole of the metal tube (or you can wrap it over the reinforcement). In any wind, the cans hit the metal tube (armature) and make a ringing sound. On section goes"Bell chime", scaring away moles. I have a plot of 6 acres. I arrange these structures in 3-4 pieces. along the perimeter of the site. Already two years there are no moles in sight.

    Role-playing game is the main type of game for a preschool child.
    The main source that feeds the child's role-playing game is the world around him, the life and activities of adults.
    The main feature of a plot-based role-playing game is the presence in it of an imaginary situation, which consists of a plot and roles.
    In games, children try on different social roles, form a scale of values for themselves, learn to build relationships with others.
    In order to enrich the subject-developing environment in the group and at the site of the kindergarten, a slab was made. It is convenient because it can be carried, i.e. the stove is mobile. It is compact and does not take up much space. For its manufacture, improvised materials were required. The manufacturing process is not complicated. The slab can be made according to your own design project.

    To work you need:
    Scissors
    Simple pencil or pen, ruler
    Stationery knife
    Colored self-adhesive paper
    Large shoe box
    Mayonnaise lids (4 pieces)
    Gouache jars (4 pieces)
    Glue moment
    Glue gun

    Step-by-step workflow:

    1. For work we need patterns of circles of different sizes.

    2. Take the 4th mayonnaise lids.

    3. Using template No. 1, cut out the 4th circles from self-adhesive paper of red color.

    4. We glue them on the mayonnaise lids.

    5. Take the shoebox, put it on the back edge so that the front surface is in front of us. We take a jar of gouache, put it at a distance of about 7 cm from the edge and circle the bottom. The lower part of the jar is smaller in diameter than the upper part, and is a circle in shape.

    We circle the bottom of the jar 4 times. We get the 4th circles, they are at an equal distance from each other. The distance can be made according to your design. On the right, they also kept a distance, according to symmetry, 7 cm.

    6. We took a clerical knife and cut out the first hole on the left. Cut carefully, keeping to the inner rim of the circle.

    Cut out the rest of the holes. There were 4 of them.

    7. We took 4 jars of gouache, washed them and dried them.

    8. Close the jars with lids. Using template No. 2, the 4th circle was cut out of self-adhesive paper. One circle turned out to be red, and the other 3 circles are brown.

    9. Glued the circles to the top surfaces of the lids.

    10. Turn the box upside down. There are inscriptions on it, we will hide them with the help of a self-adhesive film.

    I chose the gray color of the self-adhesive paper.
    We took self-adhesive paper, on the seamy side we drew a rectangle with sides of 23x34 cm. We need 2 such rectangles.

    11. Pasted one of the rectangles on the bottom edge, hiding all letters and drawings.

    Thus, the upper edge was also decorated.

    12. It's the turn to decorate and hide the flaws in the side surfaces of the box. To do this, cut out 2 rectangles with sides 3x22 cm from gray self-adhesive paper.

    13. Glued one of the rectangles to the rim of the lid on one side to hide the letters. You could leave and not stick anything else on this side.

    Glued the second rectangle on the opposite side of the box, also on the rim of the lid. It turned out that this side is not as good as the first side edge. Therefore, it is necessary to paste over it with self-adhesive paper to hide all errors.

    14. For symmetry, prepare 2 rectangles of gray self-adhesive paper with sides 8.5x23.5 cm on both side edges.

    15. We decorate the problem area of one side.

    And we glue the second rectangle on the other side.

    16. Open the lid, take the glue moment. We need to glue the lid to the base of the box so that the top surface does not open.

    We smear the rims of the lid with glue.

    17. Close the lid and press the rims to the base of the box to adhere.

    18. Insert a jar with a red lid into the left hole. We specially cut holes along the inner rim of the circles so that the jars - the handles of the stove are fastened more firmly, and not freely and do not turn.

    Insert the remaining 3 jars.

    19. My jars are firmly fixed. But to be sure that the children will not pull them out during the game, I decided to glue the jars. I pulled out the jars, turned each one upside down and glue the protruding part (lid rim) with glue.

    I put each jar back into the holes, pressed it down. The rim of the lid of each jar touched the cardboard base and stuck.
    The stove handles are ready.

    On this edge, at the bottom right, there is a company icon. I decided not to remove it. Our toy stove will also have a brand name.

    20. On the top surface we laid out burners - mayonnaise lids and looked how the hob would look like. Now you can glue them one by one.

    I tried to glue with glue, the gluing is weak.
    21. We took a glue gun.

    22. Put hot glue on the back of the mayonnaise lid.

    23. Glued it to hob plates, placing them at the top left, stepping back from the edge about 6 cm.

    Thus, the second cover was glued, placing it symmetrically (relative to the right edge) at the top right.

    We glued the remaining covers at the bottom, trying to arrange them symmetrically under the upper covers at an equal distance from them.

    24. The plate for the game is ready.

    Top view of the plate.

    The finished result
    You can take the dishes and try to cook something on the new stove.

    Back view of the slab

    Summer time is coming soon, children will spend a lot of time outdoors. We will use the slab as an external material when organizing role-playing games. You will also need a sink to play. We also made it on our own. For this they took a table. They put him on the veranda close to the wall. Cut out a hole for the pelvis. We cut in the mixer. This type of work was helped by one of the parents.

    An oven from an old gas or electric stove, sent by the owners to live out their days in a garage or country house, can serve as an excellent starting material for making a smoking chamber. Many elements of its design are already ready-made solutions that you don't have to do with your own hands:

    • Slots on the inner side surfaces or telescopic guides;
    • Wire rack and trays that can be used for filling and collecting fat;
    • Thermal insulation elements that maintain the temperature inside the cabinet;
    • Seals providing the required tightness.
    • In addition, the body elements and their coating are designed for significant temperatures, therefore, subject to the processing regime and the correct approach to the supply of smoke, such a smokehouse will not deform. Their surfaces are relatively easy to clean, thanks to which products of any origin can be put into it: fish, game, meat and even vegetables.

    Smokehouse with fuel filling into the chamber

    There are basically two different designs, differing in the principle of laying wood chips or other source of smoke. The smoker with filling at the bottom of the cabinet is considered the simplest, since it requires a minimum number of operations with your own hands.

    Work order:

    1. Remove the drying cabinet door and its back wall;
    2. Dismantle the gas burner from the oven;
    3. Install electric stove(1.5-2 kW) or build a fireplace under the bottom oven or inside a drying chamber;
    4. Drill two to four holes with a diameter of 10-20 mm in the lower part of the side walls for air intake and one or two in the upper part to remove exhaust fumes. To do this, you will have to use a drill with a conventional cylindrical or step drill for metal.

    Such a camera has a number of significant disadvantages that limit its use:

    • Impossibility of cold smoking;
    • Difficulty in adjusting the smoke distribution: the number and diameter of the holes will have to be selected by trial and error;
    • High heating inertia (impossibility rapid decline temperature) can cause too intense smoldering of wood chips or inflammation of fat, which will lead to food spoilage;

    Smoke generator design

    A smokehouse with a smoke generator has a more complex device. In addition, not all stages of its manufacture can be done by hand. Some parts will have to be bought or ordered to be manufactured.

    The work is carried out in the following order:

    1. First, you need to drill a hole with a diameter of 27-28 mm in the lower part of one of the side surfaces of the gas stove. It will be used to supply smoke.
    2. Then a standard ¾ ”water squeegee is inserted into it with a section with a longer thread length and fixed with two low nuts. Even if the double side baffle is thick, this should be sufficient for a secure fit.
    3. The same operations are carried out on the opposite sidewall, only this time the hole should be located on its top. This unit will perform the functions of removing excess smoke and relieving excess pressure in the chamber. A ball or plug valve is screwed onto the other end of the outlet pipe, which will perform the adjustment functions.
    4. To control the temperature, a thermometer is mounted in the oven, calibrated to 170-200 ° C.

    Now the smokehouse is ready and you can start making the smoke generator. The ejector type device combines high efficiency and ease of manufacture. To make such a generator with your own hands, you will need the following materials:

    • Pipe ¾ ";
    • Tube with an inner diameter of 6-7 mm;
    • Pipe with a diameter of 90-130 mm and a length of 50-70 cm;
    • Neck with union nut ¾ ";
    • Union;
    • M6-M10 screw with wing nut;
    • Metal sheet with a thickness of 3-5 mm.
    • Air compressor;
    • Connecting hose.

    Most of these materials can be found easily in any garage or shed in a private home. As a compressor, an aerator for an aquarium with a capacity of up to 60 l / h is quite suitable.

    First, you need to cut a circle from the sheet along the inner diameter of the larger pipe, drill 20-25 small holes in it and weld it inside at a distance of 2-3 cm from the edge. This kind of sieve will serve as a top hatch. Then a screw is welded to the inner wall of the pipe and a round cover is put on it, which will serve as an ash pan. A hole (10-12 mm) is drilled slightly above the top of the top to ignite wood chips.

    Next, you need to make two holes at a distance of 4-5 cm from the upper edge of the smoke generator opposite each other. An outlet pipe (3/4 ″) is welded to one of them, and a thin tube with a fitting is welded to the other so that the first is inside the structure and goes into the second to a depth of 1-2 cm. The compressor is connected to the fitting using a hose. A neck is welded to the outlet pipe and the whole structure is connected with a union nut.

    The video describes the design of the smoke generator in detail:

    After igniting the fuel and turning on the compressor, the air stream captures the smoke and directs the flow into the smoking chamber of the gas stove.

    Such a self-made smokehouse allows for both hot and cold processing of products, due to which their shelf life increases to several months. The mixture of smoke and air guarantees a minimum content of carbon monoxide and carcinogens.

    You can make an effective mini-stove for camping conditions from a regular thermos. In order for the flame to ignite more efficiently, and the contents smolder much better, it is worth sending a home-made fan to the burner structure itself.

    Materials (edit)

    To make a mini-burner you will need:

    • thermos;
    • drill;
    • drill;
    • aluminum plates;
    • aluminium case;
    • thermoelectric cooler;
    • small fan;
    • Schottky diode;
    • nipple.

    Step 1... To make a mini-burner, you will need to slightly modify the thermos itself. Drill holes in the lower part from the outside. The same operation must be repeated at the top of the thermos. In this case, the holes must not protrude from the side of the outer walls.

    The principle of the burner is simple. Air will enter the container through the lower openings, fanning the fire, and flame and heat will come out through the upper ones.

    To drill the bottom holes, step back ¾ from the bottom and take a 9mm drill. The size of the latter will depend on the size of your thermos. Please note that all holes must be at the same distance from each other. To do this, you can drill one hole and mark the rest with a marker and tape measure.

    In the upper part of the thermos, the holes should be made half as large. In this case, a 4.5 mm drill came up.

    Step 2... Test your mini tile. If everything is in order and during the combustion of pieces of paper, wood and other things, heat and flame are released as needed, you can continue to work.

    Step 3... Now for the tile you need to make a stand for the containers. To do this, take two aluminum plates. Cross them in an upright position and with a marker make marks for the slots with which they will be connected to each other and installed on the thermos itself.

    Step 4... To make the mini-tile more efficient, you need to attach a small fan to it, which will blow air into the lower part, thereby maintaining the fire. To do this, drill two holes in the aluminum box to guide the fan wiring. You will need another hole to install the copper nipple, which will fit the entire device into the mini-tile. Do not forget to connect the cooling module to the fan. Fix all parts inside the aluminum case with Surgu paste. For it to grab properly, you need to wait a day.

    After that, you can close the body of the aluminum container and insert it with a nipple into one of the holes on the outside of the can at the bottom. The product is ready!
