• What can be cooked from squid: quick and tasty

    In an effort to save on heating, many home "homemade craftsmen" make various devices. A do-it-yourself boiler, which can often be seen in a private house, is one such useful device.

    There are different varieties of it. If you have the skills to work with a welding machine and metal, then you can significantly save on the arrangement of heating.

    Varieties

    Before the direct manufacture of a boiler for heating into a house, it is necessary to determine its configuration and type. By the type of heating the coolant, boilers are:

    • Gas;
    • Wood-burning;
    • Coal;
    • Electrical;
    • Pyrolysis;
    • Oil;
    • Pellet

    As for the configuration, it can be any:

    • Rounded;
    • Rectangular;
    • Trapezoidal;
    • Conical

    How to make a boiler correctly

    In the design process, it is necessary to take into account some design features, the principle of its operation. In particular, you need to decide on the purpose of the boiler, what type it will be. The easiest way is to make a solid fuel boiler with your own hands.

    It is much more difficult, almost impossible - gas, since it has increased safety requirements. You need to get permission to use it, check it. And - if all the characteristics of the device do not meet the required ones, then the relevant authorities will simply prohibit such a boiler for operation.

    The efficiency of the boiler is influenced by both the design (coolant capacity) and the rate of fuel combustion, a constant supply of fresh air (oxygen). It should be taken into account that the fuel burns out completely and the outflow of gas carrying a lot of heat is possible, which must be prevented.

    Some features

    The configuration of the boiler, its characteristics, drawings will depend on many factors:

    • Material. Ordinary steel (sheet) will work, but heat-resistant stainless steel or cast iron is best.
    • Possibilities of good processing of steel, reliable connection of structural parts. Usually they use mainly a grinder, a gas cutter and electric welding for this.
    • The type, characteristics of the fuel (liquid or solid). The steel must withstand high temperatures, do not deform, do not melt under their influence. Withstand the internal pressure of vapors and gases without rupture and cracks.
    • Correct calculation of the method of circulation of the coolant. Will it be natural (due to the correct manipulation of pipe diameters, their slope, tank height, etc.) or forced (using a pump in the circuit).
    • Accounting for vapor pressure, using valves to discharge excess gases, condensate (installation of a return line).

    It is important in the process of designing a boiler, including it in the heating circuit, to think carefully about everything. What and how will work after assembly.

    Making a heating boiler with your own hands is not so difficult. All problems usually begin later, when something is not taken into account or clumsily done.

    Wood fired water boiler step by step

    To make it we need:

    • Protective gloves;
    • Overalls;
    • Welding mask;
    • Electrodes;
    • Welding machine;
    • Drill;
    • Drills for metal;
    • Roulette;
    • Material for the manufacture of the boiler (2 barrels or - metal sheet (thickness - at least 5 mm), doors, dampers, grate, corners)

    The only significant drawback of a wood-burning boiler is its low efficiency. But ease of manufacture and maintenance are essential advantages that make it the most popular.

    Manufacturing instruction

    When you have everything you need (material and tool), it remains only to assemble the boiler in the following sequence:

    • We take 2 barrels with different diameters, wall thickness of at least 4 mm;
    • Using a grinder, we cut out holes for an ash pan and a water container;
    • We install one cylinder of a smaller diameter inside the other;
    • We weld the lid over them, the ash pan, the firebox;
    • We close the door;
    • Weld on water pipes, branch pipe for check valve(pressure relief);
    • We mount the grate inside the oven;
    • We make a hole for the chimney;
    • Install the pipe;
    • We check the tightness.

    When there are no leaks in the boiler, it is connected to the heating system and the water supply network.

    If waste oil or antifreeze is used as a coolant, then they will be filled in manually. Connections to the water supply system, welding of the pipes is not necessary for this.

    After installing the boiler with your own hands in the heating system, you need to check the correctness of its operation. A properly assembled device will heat the coolant (water or oil) during the combustion process. If he does this poorly, then you should check for air locks in the heating network, lower the vapor pressure by dumping them.

    In any case, you need to understand the principle of operation of this kind of boiler so that there are no excesses and problems during its operation.

    Firewood is the most accessible, environmentally friendly and inexpensive type of fuel that has been used by humans since the beginning of time. The main advantages of wood-burning heating systems are energy independence, high efficiency with comparative ease of use. Despite the variety of gas and electric heating systems, wood-fired boilers heating and now have not lost their relevance and are popular among most Russians. Have wood burning installations there is another indisputable advantage - this is the simplicity of the design, which allows you to easily make a boiler for heating a house with your own hands. This is what will be discussed in this publication.

    Design and principle of operation

    Before proceeding directly to the instructions for creating a homemade solid fuel boiler, you need to understand how a wood-burning boiler installation works.

    In the simplest wood-burning boiler with a heat exchanger, during the combustion of firewood, thermal energy, which heats the walls of the heat exchanger (water jacket) and directly the coolant itself. Combustion products, passing through the soot collector, are discharged through the chimney. The draft is regulated by the position of the ash pan door and the chimney damper. The heat exchanger is connected to the heating system, which includes main pipes, radiators and an expansion tank. The circulation of the coolant can be carried out both naturally and forcibly by including a circulation pump in the heating system (CO).

    The simplicity of such a boiler is "compensated" by the low efficiency of this design: most of the heat energy literally "flies into the pipe" along with the combustion products. But the main disadvantage is low level automation: all operations for loading fuel into the furnace and maintaining the combustion process must be done manually. Therefore, wood-fired boilers for pyrolysis combustion are considered the most popular. Making such a heating boiler with your own hands will not be difficult for any home craftsman.

    Homemade pyrolysis boiler

    The fuel is loaded into the fuel chamber in full immediately. Under conditions of oxygen deficiency in the gasification chamber, the fuel smolders with the release of pyrolysis gas. Smoldering occurs with the release of heat, which is spent on heating the coolant in the heat exchanger. The pyrolysis gas, together with the combustion products, enters the afterburner, which in this design also serves as an ash pan. Due to the fact that the access of oxygen to the afterburner is not limited, the combustion of the combustible gas occurs with the release of a high temperature, as a result of which the efficiency of the device is significantly increased. The entire operation of the pyrolysis boiler can be conditionally divided into four stages:

    1. At the first stage, firewood is dried and pyrolysis gas is released from the fuel.
    2. The second stage of the operation of this installation is the combustion of a mixture of secondary air with a combustible gas in the afterburner.
    3. The third stage is the passage of incandescent gases through the heat exchanger.
    4. Removal of the combustion products that gave the "lion's share" of thermal energy.

    A homemade solid fuel boiler should be equipped with controls and automation that make it possible to simplify and secure its maintenance as much as possible. The operation of the unit can be controlled by changing the position of the ashtray door (ash pan) and the chimney damper. The automatics of a homemade wood boiler are usually represented by a pressure gauge, an air vent and a blasting valve (security group). Quite often, domestic "Kulibins" equip their heating installations: with a temperature sensor, thanks to which the primary air fan is switched on and off, as well as pressure sensors in the water circuit.

    Let's digress a little, as we want to inform you that we have compiled a rating of solid fuel boilers by fashion. You can learn more from the following materials:

    Preparation of materials and tools

    Before answering the question of how to make a solid fuel boiler yourself, you should decide on the design of the device. The simplest option is a classic combustion boiler. In other words, "Burzhuyka" with a water heat exchanger. A more efficient boiler unit is considered to be a classic combustion installation, divided into two chambers: in the lower one, the process of burning firewood will take place; at the top - heating water for the needs of the owner.

    After choosing the optimal design for a wood-burning heating installation, you should decide on the size of the device. Ideally, the next step in creating a heating boiler with your own hands is drawings that can be ordered from a specialized organization.

    Important! We do not knowingly publish drawings of a wood-fired heating installation. All information is given for informational purposes only.

    Material selection

    If you own the art of welding and the possibility of plasma cutting, then to create a wood-burning boiler you need to use sheet metal with a thickness of 3-5 mm. The boiler blanks are cut out of the metal, which are welded according to the scheme.

    The simplest version of the body is a piece of thick-walled steel pipe, 4-6 mm thick; length 800 - 1000 mm; with a diameter of 300 mm. The grates and supports can be made of reinforcement, rolled steel or channel bars. You will also need metal to create the bottom of the boiler (50 mm thick), lid (3-5 mm thick), air diffuser (10 mm thick), hinges and valves. In addition, you need to stock up on a metal pipe with a diameter of 60 mm. The pipe height should be 50mm more height housing. For the chimney you will need steel pipe, with a diameter of 100 mm.

    To assemble the simplest wood-burning boiler, you will need a tool, namely:

    • Welding machine.
    • Powerful angle grinder ("Bulgarian").
    • Drill and drill bits for metal.

    The build process can be divided into several stages:

    1. A circle should be cut out of 50 mm metal, corresponding to the diameter of the case. After welding, it will be the bottom of the wood boiler.
    2. A circle should be cut out of the metal, which is 20 mm smaller in diameter than the body. Then, in the middle of the circle, you need to drill a hole with a diameter of 20 mm. A piece of air distribution pipe (d 60mm) should be welded to the hole. On the opposite side of the circle, impeller-shaped plates are welded on.
    3. A circle is cut out of sheet metal with a thickness of 3-5 mm, which will serve as the upper cover of the boiler. In the middle of the circle, a hole should be made in which the air distribution pipe will move freely (d 60 mm).
    4. A chimney is welded to the upper part of the body.

    Important! For correct flue gas discharge, it is necessary that the chimney section 50 cm long is strictly horizontal from the boiler.

    Fuel is loaded into such a boiler through the top cover. It is necessary to load the space of the fuel chamber as tightly as possible so that there are no gaps. Ignition is done through the top. As soon as the fuel has ignited, the air diffuser and the top cover should be installed in their original places. As it burns out, the air distributor disc will lower, building up pressure in the lower chamber. Due to this, the amount of oxygen in the fuel chamber will be reduced, the combustion process will turn into slow smoldering. The whole structure of this wood-burning boiler is as follows

    Advice: this scheme a homemade boiler plant requires a chimney. If there is no possibility of arranging a smoke exhaust duct, and there is a need for a heating device, then you can create the simplest induction heating boiler with your own hands, if you have a welding inverter at hand.

    From copper wire with a cross section of 2 mm, a winding of 50-100 turns should be made, the core of which will be a steel pipe. Under the influence of magnetic induction, the section of the pipe (core) will heat up along which the coolant will move.

    Making a heating boiler yourself is not such a simple matter as they write about it on many sites. A person who decides to make a boiler with his own hands must have certain qualifications and skills, have necessary tools and materials, as well as be able to create home-made drawings for heating boilers, according to which the product will be manufactured. The most complex technical structures on Earth have been created by human hands, so there is nothing surprising in the fact that home-made heating boilers are much better than factory products in their technical data.

    The enterprise is created in order to make a profit, therefore, a product design is being developed that has a minimum cost price for a given technical parameters... But for self-made most often steel is chosen over High Quality and thickness. Usually no one saves and purchases high quality valves, fittings and pumps. And on the do-it-yourself heating boiler, the drawings are used either of already tested models, or their own unique ones are being developed.

    Possessing the skills of working with metal, having required material and the tool is easiest to make homemade electric boilers - electrode or heating elements. If a heating element is used as an electricity converter, then you need to make or select a steel case in which it will be installed. All other components - regulators, sensors, thermostat, pump and are purchased separately in specialized stores. Electric boilers can be used in closed or open heating systems.

    What is needed and how to make an electric heating boiler with your own hands 220v efficient and reliable?

    You need a container made of steel, in which one or more heating elements are placed in accordance with the drawings or sketches for the product being created. Even at the stage of the project for do-it-yourself heating boilers, the drawings should provide for the possibility of prompt and easy replacement of a burnt-out heating element. For example, the body can be made of a steel pipe with a diameter of 220 mm with a body length of about 0.5 m. Flanges with supply and return pipes and seats for heating elements are welded to the ends of the pipe. , the expansion tank and the pressure sensor are connected to the return line.

    Features of power supply of electric boilers

    Heating elements consume significant power, usually more than 3 kW. Therefore, a separate power line must be created for electric boilers. For units with a power of up to 6 kW, a single-phase network is used, and at high power values, a three-phase network is required. If you equip a homemade heating boiler with a heating element with a thermostat and connect it through an RCD protection, then this is an ideal option. When installing conventional heating elements, the thermostat is purchased and installed separately.

    Electrode heating boilers

    Boilers of this type impress with their extreme simplicity. It is a container in which an electrode is installed, the boiler body serves as the second electrode. Two branch pipes are welded into the tank - supply and return, through which the electrode boiler is connected to heating system. The efficiency of electrode boilers is close, like that of other types of electric boilers, to 100% and its real value is 98%. The well-known electrode boiler "Scorpion" is the subject of heated discussions. Opinions are extremely diverse, from excessive admiration to complete denial of use for heating circuits.

    It is believed that electrode boilers were designed to heat submarines. Indeed, the manufacture of heating boilers requires a minimum of materials, seawater with dissolved salts is an excellent heat carrier, and the hull of a submarine to which the heating system is connected is an ideal ground. At first glance, this is an excellent heating circuit, but can it be used for heating homes and how to make an electric heating boiler with your own hands, repeating the device of the Scorpion boiler?

    Electrode boiler Scorpion

    In electrode boilers, the coolant heats the current passing between the two electrodes of the boiler. If distilled water is poured into the system, the electrode boiler will not work. There is a special saline solution on sale for electrode boilers with a specific conductivity of the order of 150 ohm / cm. The design of the unit is so simple that making the Scorpio electric boiler with your own hands, if you have the necessary skills, is quite simple.

    The boiler is based on a steel pipe with a diameter of up to 100 mm and a length of up to 300 mm.

    Two pipes are welded to this pipe for connection to the heating system. Inside the device there is an electrode isolated from the body. The boiler body plays the role of a second electrode, the neutral wire and protective ground are connected to it.

    Disadvantages of electrode boilers

    The main disadvantage of electrode boilers is the need to use saline solutions, which adversely affect batteries and heating pipelines. A heating system over the course of several years may require complete replacement of radiators, especially aluminum ones (which you will read more about), and piping. Circulating pumps that are designed to work with antifreeze or clean water are at great risk. The second huge drawback is that electrode boilers require an ideal protective earth enclosures, otherwise they pose a huge risk of electric shock. It is prohibited to sell and install such equipment in foreign countries!

    Homemade solid fuel heating boilers

    Demand solid fuel boilers due to the rise in the price of gas and electricity, their prices are growing accordingly. The alternative is, because they will be cheaper, and they will work no worse than factory products.

    It is impossible to make a cast-iron firebox at home, so steel is used for manufacturing.

    If possible, it is better to use heat-resistant alloy steel (stainless steel) with a thickness of at least 5 mm. It is not worth saving on metal, since the boiler is made for itself, for many years. You can take ready-made drawings as a basis or make them yourself.

    Features of the manufacture of gas boilers

    Theoretically, making a gas heating boiler with your own hands is not particularly difficult for people who know how to work with metal and have the necessary skills and tools. Gas boilers are classified as hazardous products, therefore,
    homemade gas boilers heating, you need to obtain a permit for installation in the gas service, for which a product certificate is required.

    It should be borne in mind that obtaining a certificate is quite costly and the slightest deviation from the established norms and rules leads to refusal. Is it worth the risk? In addition, with modern SNiP, the manufacture of gas-fired heating boilers with their own hands is prohibited!

    From the author: Hello, friends! Studying project construction and creating a dream house, you try to foresee everything, from ventilation, selection of high-quality materials, insulation external walls before installing radiators and heating systems. How to independently understand this flow of information and not be mistaken?

    Having set a clear task, it is easy to cope with each of the points of the technical project. Today we will reveal the secret of how to choose a heating system for a private house and how to do it yourself, with recommendations and instructions.

    Immediately, we note that the boiler operation scheme is universal - when fuel is burned, thermal energy is released, which is transferred to the heating system of the house. The only difference is in design, experience and knowledge, expended energy and, of course, in financial capabilities.

    Types of heating boilers

    Before starting practical work and searching for the necessary drawings, you need to decide on the type of heating system, the advantages and disadvantages of the heat carrier.

    Gas boiler

    Heats the house quickly and efficiently, but has a number of serious rules for installation and operation. It is quite difficult to do this type of boiler with your own hands without experience and knowledge. In addition, installation is coupled with the parallel installation of additional ventilation throughout the house.

    Advice: if the heating system is usually installed in a basement, then gas boilers must absolutely not be placed there, as there is a danger of explosion.

    Electric boiler

    Ideal for country house where regular operation is not required. Expensive electricity, power surges and possible overheating - all this makes this type of impractical and very costly. By purchasing finished structure, you can significantly save on elements, but with voltage surges, the power and efficiency of the coolant drops dramatically.

    It is not difficult to build this type yourself. At its core, this is a tank with a built-in heating element (tubular electric heater) and two outgoing pipes connected to the return and supply circuits. The design is quite simple, since it does not require the installation of a combustion chamber, chimney, etc.

    Oil fired boiler

    It is quite possible to do it yourself if you have a drawing and an experienced advisor, but again everything depends on the price and ease of use.

    Source: x-teplo.ru

    The cost of fuel and constant monitoring of the burner nozzles, the need for a separate room from the residential building, pulling and insulating pipes, preparing a place for storing fuel in accordance with the rules fire safety- all this can create serious difficulties in operation.

    Steam boiler

    The operation of a steam boiler is based on the use of thermal energy from steam. When fuel is burned, heat is generated in the boiler, water is converted into steam, enters the hot water section and the heating main. More precisely, water is pumped into the upper part of the boiler using a pump, through the pipes it enters the riser pipeline and collectors. In the fuel combustion zone, the liquid is heated. If you remember the lessons of physics, then the rules of the functioning of communicating vessels are involved here.

    The heating system of a steam boiler consists of several elements: mains, risers and a water heating device. How to weld a steam boiler yourself, what materials and tools will you need for work?

    We need:

    • pipes from of stainless steel diameters 100–120 mm, 10 mm and 30 mm;
    • stainless steel sheet;
    • asbestos;
    • safety valve and instruments for measuring control;
    • tool for machining;
    • welding machine.
    The main structural element the drum is considered, since measurement control devices and pipes of the water circuit are connected to it. The sequence of work is as follows.
    1. We make a case from a pipe with a diameter of 100–120 mm. Pay attention to the wall thickness, it must be at least 3 mm.
    2. We prepare 12 smoke tubes 100 mm long and a fat tube 110 mm.
    3. We make internal partitions from stainless steel and make holes in them for smoke tubes. We fix the pipes by welding, and weld the valve and the manifold to the body.
    4. With the help of asbestos, we carry out thermal insulation and equip the unit with special devices for measuring control.
    5. We carry out tests for structural integrity and performance.
    Based on experience, we can say that the principle of a steam boiler is the same everywhere, but with additions and improvements, you can see numerous options on the Internet.

    Solid fuel boiler

    The most common, affordable and easy-to-create version of the boiler for the home. Firewood, coal, anthracite, pellets - you can choose the most appropriate option for the family budget.

    Long burning pyrolysis boilers

    One of the common solid fuel types is considered to be a pyrolysis boiler, adapted for burning firewood, briquettes, coal and preserving temperature regime within 12 hours. Thanks to the additional help of electricity and a well-thought-out ventilation system, such a boiler effectively ensures uniform heating of the house.

    Principle of operation: firewood is loaded into the chamber, set on fire and hermetically closed the damper. During combustion and smoldering, nitrogen, carbon and hydrogen are formed. Standing out, they enter a special compartment, where they burn out and generate heat for heating the water circuit and the entire heating system of the house.

    Note that ready-made pyrolysis boilers are an expensive pleasure, but they are more functional than the "classic" solid fuel boiler model. Therefore, it is not surprising that experienced craftsmen have long learned to make their counterparts on their own.

    What tools and materials will you need to work? First of all, a grinder, a welding machine, plus consumables: a sheet of metal (not less than 4 mm thick), metal pipes with a diameter of 300 mm, 60 mm and 100 mm and a wall thickness of at least 3 mm. This should be enough to create structural elements: grate, smoke exhauster, heat exchanger (water type), firewood loading chamber and combustion of volatile gases.

    Or purchase a ready-to-use pyrolysis boiler:

    Pellet boiler type

    This type also applies to solid fuel boilers. Unlike the previous model, it is automated and easier to use. The system is heated by granulated wood - pellets.

    Can you do it yourself? Despite the laboriousness and the need for electrical equipment - an electric motor to ensure the operation of the auger, or a bunker flap - a pellet boiler can be made with your own hands.

    Important: Since pellets are free-flowing material, feeding into the chamber is carried out automatically using an auger or a special hopper.

    Which of the options is more profitable and convenient is up to you. In any case, carefully read the instructions and recommendations of specialists before installing.

    Classic solid fuel boiler

    Let's consider how to correctly make the most popular option on the market for solid fuel boilers for cottages and summer cottages. First of all, we need a welding machine, a grinder, a gas cutter, a hammer and a tape measure.

    For construction: seamless pipes with a diameter of 425 mm, 100 mm and 25 mm, a metal sheet (thickness 4 mm), hinges, an angle of 25 mm, a squeegee with a diameter of 25 mm - 2 pieces, fittings with a diameter of 8 mm.

    The next step is to create a project using textbooks or search for drawings and video recommendations on the Internet.

    Manufacturing of the case

    We start manufacturing parts. We make a boiler body from a pipe of the largest size, cut off the desired piece. For a medium-sized unit, we need a length of 1–1.2 meters.

    Source: x-teplo.ru

    Advice: you can cut off the pipe using a gas cutter, and process the edges with a grinder.

    The next step is to cut out two rectangular holes in the body for a 20 × 10 cm firebox and a 20 × 3 cm blower. They should be located one above the other, the furnace hole is higher. The distance from the blower to the edge of the pipe is within 7 cm, between the holes is about 5 cm.

    Next, you need to cut out a place in the body for installing the return and supply pipes. The holes are made opposite each other and with a diameter of 25 mm. Please note that the cutout for the return is cut from the side, at a distance of 15 cm from the combustion hole.

    Before proceeding with the independent manufacture of solid fuel boilers, it is necessary to prepare sketches. They should reflect the main and additional elements. It is proposed to take the drawings of solid fuel boilers as a basis long burning... It is quite possible to make them with your own hands.

    The appearance of a homemade design

    Analogues with support for long-term combustion differ from ordinary boilers by the presence of two working chambers at once. In the first of them, the directly embedded fuel is burned, and in the second, the released gases. The timely supply of oxygen plays an important role. As a device for blowing air can be used regular fan with uncomplicated automation.

    Of the advantages of the units, it should be noted:

    • the minimum number of fuel fillings;
    • high work efficiency;
    • usage different types solid fuel;
    • a small amount of soot in the pipes during operation;
    • reliability of the design.

    Note! Of the shortcomings, it is necessary to mention the complexity of self-production. Although when using ready-made drawings of solid fuel boilers for long burning with your own hands, it is still possible to make an unit.

    The process of making solid fuel boilers for long burning with your own hands: drawings and assembly

    It should be noted right away that structures can have both an upper combustion chamber and a lower one. In the first case, the combustion products enter the working compartment under the influence of natural forces, and in the second - with the help of an additional device for forcing air.

    Since boilers with a lower afterburning chamber are difficult to manufacture and require the installation of additional equipment during installation, it does not make much sense to consider them. It is faster and more economical to make a design with an upper combustion chamber.

    Applicable elements

    For the manufacture of the structure you will need:

    • pipe with a cross section of 500 mm and a length of 1300 mm;
    • pipe with a diameter of 450 mm and a length of 1500 mm;
    • pipe with a cross section of 60 mm and a length of 1200 mm;
    • two rings 25 mm wide and 500 mm in diameter;
    • metal corners and pieces of the channel;
    • Metal sheet;
    • asbestos cloth;
    • hinges and handles.

    The order of assembly of the case

    First of all, pipes with a cross section of 1500 and 1300 mm are nested into each other. They are connected using a ring made of a corner 25x25 mm in size. From sheet metal a circle with a diameter of 450 mm is cut out and fixed to the end of the pipe. She acts as a bottom. The result should be a small barrel.

    On the lower side of the structure, a rectangular hole of 15x10 cm is cut out for the ash pan door. The sash is attached to the opening with a hinge, and a latch is also installed.

    A rectangular hole is made just above for the fuel chamber. The dimensions can be determined by yourself. The convenience of loading firewood or other fuel will depend on the correct dimensions. A door with a latch is installed using the same technology.

    In the upper part of the home-made structure, an exhaust pipe is made, with the help of which the exhaust gases will flow into the chimney. On the sides, by means of welding, the pipes are fixed, which are necessary for connection to the heating system of the building. Threads are necessarily cut in them.

    Air distributor device

    A circle with cross section 20-30 mm less than the diameter of the inner part of the boiler. A round hole is made in the central part for the air distribution pipe. Its diameter should be 6 cm. A pipe is inserted directly into the hole and welded to the base.

    Pieces of the corner are attached to the bottom of the metal pancake. On the other hand, a loop is fixed by welding, which is necessary to move the structure up and down. To adjust the air supply directly to the combustion chamber, a damper is arranged.

    A circle with a diameter of 500 mm, cut from a suitable piece of metal, is inserted into the structure. The upper end of the pipe is inserted into the hole, after which the upper boiler cover is welded tightly. A cable is fixed to the loop, which allows lowering and raising the distributor.

    Note! The simplest of all schemes of solid fuel boilers for long burning was presented. Assemble with your own hands reliable design it is not so difficult, especially if you have experience with welding and other tools.

    Do-it-yourself solid fuel boiler for long burning: video for acquaintance

    Another option is to use a gas cylinder for the body. From it, you can create a completely effective structure for heating buildings. small size... To familiarize yourself with the features homemade device for heating it is suggested to look at the video. A long-burning boiler with your own hands without drawings can be made according to it.

    Are there any negative reviews about a solid fuel boiler for long burning?

    Sometimes consumers leave negative reviews about designs, but they are more likely associated with common disadvantages that are inherent in solid fuel devices in general.

    The following disadvantages can be highlighted:

    • to store fuel, you have to use special rooms or structures;
    • in any case, the fuel must be loaded manually, despite the reduced number of loads;
    • when installing any models of solid fuel boilers, special safety measures must be taken;
